<![CDATA[The earthquake on August 17, 2025, caused damage to the GKST Gloria Church, primarily classified as moderate non-structural, with overall damage intensity ranging from light to moderate. Structural shear cracks were found in the balcony beams supporting the tower columns, approximately 10 meters high. Moderate to severe non-structural damage to the brick walls occurred on part of the rear wall, resulting in corner failure and diagonal cracks. These visually observable damages led to the temporary suspension of the building's use for worship services. An inspection and outreach program was held on April 17, 2026, at the GKST Gloria Church in Tangkura, Poso Pesisir District, Poso Regency. The post-earthquake inspection included a visual inspection of the general condition of the building's installed components, such as columns, walls, floor slabs, and other structures. The inspection results provided four recommendations: A vertical crack in the wall separation area near the first-floor stairs with a gap width of ≈ 20 mm should be repaired with anchors; other horizontal, diagonal, and vertical cracks with a gap width of ≤ 5 mm should be repaired; other horizontal, diagonal, and vertical cracks with a gap width of > 5 mm should be repaired using wire mesh; and three reinforced concrete columns with damage to the outer covering (brick and mortar) should be repaired and reinforced.
