This study aimed to evaluate the effect of self-efficacy training on academic stress among first-year psychology students in at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. A quasi-experimental design was employed with a pre-test and post-test approach on a single group. Five students categorized as having high academic stress were selected as subjects. The training consisted of two sessions: psychoeducation on self-efficacy and hands-on practice using teaching aids. Statistical analysis revealed a decrease in the mean academic stress scores from 106.60 in the pre-test to 93.20 in the post-test, with t = 5.043 and p = 0.007. These findings indicate that self-efficacy training effectively reduces academic stress. This study recommends self-efficacy training as a strategy to enhance students' academic stress.
