<![CDATA[Malnutrition among children under five remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia. Inadequate utilization of Posyandu services contributes to suboptimal growth monitoring, delayed nutritional interventions, and an increased risk of malnutrition. Strengthening community participation through Posyandu-based nutrition interventions is considered an effective strategy to improve maternal awareness and optimize child health services.This community service aimed to implement a Posyandu-based nutrition intervention model through community empowerment to increase Posyandu attendance and reduce the risk of malnutrition among children under five in Kalosi Village, Dua Pitue District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The program was conducted on June 29, 2026, at Posyandu Dahlia 1 using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Participants were selected using purposive sampling and consisted of 14 participants, including first-trimester pregnant women, mothers of children under five, and Posyandu cadres. The intervention included nutrition education, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, demonstrations, and leaflet distribution. The educational materials covered exclusive breastfeeding, maternal nutrition during pregnancy, stunting prevention, myths about breastfeeding, local cultural support for breastfeeding, and the role of Posyandu. ]]>
