<![CDATA[This research aims to explain the thoughts of a figure Abdul Rivai about Kaoem Moeda in Bintang Hindia Newspaper 1903-1907. The research method used is the historical research method, the steps consist of Heuristics (source collection), source criticism (verification), interpretation, and Historiography (writing). This research uses primary sources in the form of Abdul Rivai's writings in the Bintang Hindia newspaper published from 1903-1907. While secondary sources are books and journals relevant to the research theme. The results of this study show that Abdul Rivai was a doctor and journalist who fought for the Bumiputera nation with education through writing in newspapers. During the thought process that focused on education, Abdul Rivai managed to define the word "Kaoem Moeda" in the Bintang Hindia newspaper. The idea of young people had an impact with the formation of a Young People's Association. The association was needed as a forum to discuss the future of the Bumiputera nation. ]]>
