Hydration status is a condition that describes the amount of fluid or water balance in a person's body that can be known through urine color testing and produces urine color levels. To maintain hydration status well maintained one way is to consume sufficient fluids. This study aims to identify the relationship between fluid consumption and hydration status in students in Palembang City. Using a quantitative correlation design and using a cross-sectional approach, the sample in this study amounted to 68 respondents with a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection tools used questionnaires and observation sheets. Analysis of research data used the Kendall's Tau b test. Most respondents were 20 years old, female 60 respondents (90.1%), fluid consumption met 43 respondents (65.2%), hydration status was not dehydrated 28 respondents (42.4%), there was a relationship between fluid consumption and hydration status (p value = 0.012).
