General Background The civet coffee industry experiences rapid development as a premium product with high economic value, yet exploitative farming practices frequently draw public scrutiny and threaten corporate reputation. Specific Background Kopi Luwak Cikole in Lembang operates an ethical civet coffee business by integrating animal welfare principles within captive breeding and educational programs. Knowledge Gap Research analyzing the relationship between animal welfare implementation through breeding and education with brand image formation remains relatively limited. Aims This study aims to examine how the application of animal welfare principles through breeding and education shapes a positive brand image for the Cikole Luwak Coffee business. Results Findings indicate that proper breeding management and educational programs increase consumer understanding and trust, which directly builds a positive brand image as an ethical and responsible business. Novelty This study uncovers that integrating animal welfare compliance with educational transparency serves as an effective mechanism to establish brand equity in niche agricultural tourism. Implications These insights suggest that adopting ethical treatment standards combined with consumer education can strengthen brand value and enhance market competitiveness in specialty beverage enterprises. Animal welfare management in breeding encompasses secure enclosures, natural dietary provisions, and regular health monitoring to prevent stress. Educational programs utilize guides and informational media to enhance consumer literacy regarding ethical production processes.
