<![CDATA[Chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is a highly valuable vegetable horticultural commodity widely cultivated in Indonesia. Based on data from the Sidrap Statistics Agency (BPS) (2025), there was a decline in chili pepper production in Sidenreng Rappang Regency from 2023 to 2024. Chili pepper production can be significantly increased by improving the cultivation system through a more environmentally friendly approach, one of which is by using natural ingredients such as moringa leaf extract and rice washing water. The use of local organic materials such as moringa leaf extract and rice washing water offers a sustainable solution to increase the growth and production of chili pepper plants, which have the potential to be an alternative source of organic nutrients for plants. This study aims to analyze the effect of several formulations of moringa leaf extract and rice washing water on the growth and production of chili pepper plants. The design of this study used a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 6 treatments, namely P0 (Control), P1 (100% rice washing water), P2 (75% Moringa leaf extract), P3 (80% Moringa leaf extract), P4 (75% Moringa leaf extract + 25% rice washing water), and P5 (80% Moringa leaf extract + 20% rice washing water) where each treatment was repeated 3 times, so there were 18 experimental units, and in each unit consisted of 2 plant samples. So, a total of 36 plant samples. The results showed that the administration of moringa leaf extract and rice washing water treatment did not significantly affect most of the observation parameters of cayenne pepper growth and production, namely plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, harvest age, fruit weight per plant per harvest, number of fruits per plant, fruit and stalk length, fruit diameter, and production. The treatment had a very significant effect only on fruit length. Treatment P5 (80% moringa leaf extract + 20% rice washing water) produced the lowest fruit length.]]>
