The phenomenon of insecurity is one of the mental problems experienced by many modern society, especially the younger generation. Feelings of inability to accept oneself, anxiety about the future, and low self-esteem due to the pressure of social norms can affect a person's mental health. This study aims to examine the concept of insecurity and its form of therapy in the perspective of Tafsir Al-Munir by Wahbah az-Zuhaili. This research is a qualitative research based on library research using a thematic interpretation approach (maudhu'i). The primary source of data for the study is Tafsir Al-Munir fi al-'Aqidah wa al-Syari'ah wa al-Manhaj by Wahbah az-Zuhaili, while secondary data comes from journals and studies related to Islamic mental health. The results of the study show that the concept of insecurity in Tafsir Al-Munir is represented through several human psychological conditions, namely: (1) khauf, as a form of anxiety about threats or something that has not yet happened (2) huzn, as deep sadness due to past experiences, and (3) halu’, as a human tendency to feel restless and complain. According to Wahbah az-Zuhaili, the root of the emergence of insecurity is related to the weak understanding of monotheism, excessive life orientation towards the world, and lack of gratitude for Allah's favors. The therapies offered include reconstructing mindsets through strengthening optimism, optimizing worship such as dhikr and prayer as a medium for peace of mind, and internalizing the values of qana'ah and tawakal.
