<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of WhatsApp as a communication platform and the effectiveness of disseminating learning-related information among students at SMAN 1 Talawi. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 186 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire comprising 24 valid items following a pilot test conducted with 30 students. The instrument demonstrated good reliability, with Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients of 0.867 for the WhatsApp utilization variable and 0.824 for the learning information dissemination variable. The findings revealed a positive relationship between the intensity of WhatsApp use in interpersonal and group communication and the efficiency and speed of learning information dissemination. These findings indicate that WhatsApp serves as an effective digital communication medium that facilitates the distribution of learning-related information and aligns with the uses and gratifications perspective, which conceptualizes students as active media users who select communication platforms according to their specific needs. This study underscores the importance of optimizing WhatsApp as a learning communication medium to facilitate faster, more accessible, and more effective information dissemination within the school environment.]]>
