<![CDATA[The improvement of student engagement and learning motivation has become a major concern in the modern educational process. Teachers are required to apply innovative and interactive learning strategies that encourage students to participate actively in classroom activities. One of the learning approaches that can support this objective is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method. This method focuses on student-centered learning by presenting contextual problems that stimulate students to analyze, discuss, and find solutions collaboratively. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning method in the Production Economics subject and its role in increasing students’ motivation and participation in learning. In its implementation, teachers design structured learning activities that include problem identification, group discussion, problem-solving, and presentation of solutions. Learning is also supported by the use of digital media such as PowerPoint presentations, visual learning materials, and interactive student worksheets to make the learning process more interesting and effective. Assessment is carried out through observation, formative tests, and summative evaluation to measure students’ understanding and learning progress. The results indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning method helps students become more active, improves their critical thinking skills, and increases their interest in learning. Therefore, the use of innovative learning methods such as PBL is highly recommended to create meaningful learning experiences and improve the overall quality of education.]]>
