Volleyball is among the most popular sports for senior high school (SLTA) students in Landak Regency, yet structured, regency-level competitions remain scarce. Of the approximately 40 SLTA schools in the regency, fewer than half had access to inter-school volleyball competitions prior to this activity. This community service aimed to organize the Yuletide San Agustin Volleyball 2025 tournament as a medium for character building, talent development, and experiential learning for Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PJKR) students. The tournament was held from 6–15 December 2025 at the San Agustin multifunction field, Ngabang, using a knock-out format comprising a technical meeting, preliminary rounds, semifinals, and finals. A total of 26 teams (19 men’s, 7 women’s) from 17 schools participated, involving 286 student-athletes. Participant feedback captured through short video testimonials indicated the event ran smoothly, served as a platform for nurturing young athletic talent, and was requested to be held annually to build mental resilience and competitive spirit. Evaluation noted the need for improved match scheduling and better supporting facilities. This activity confirms that a structured sporting competition organized by a university can effectively support character development and strengthen the institution’s role as a sports development partner at the regency level.
