<![CDATA[The accumulation of Polypropylene (PP) plastic waste has caused serious pollution that is difficult to mitigate using conventional methods. This study aimed to integrate the mechanical design of a pyrolysis system—specifically reinforcing the table frame and designing a secondary combustion cover—and to analyze how different combustion systems (open vs. closed) affect the characteristics of liquid fuel derived from 2 kg of polypropylene waste. Structural evaluation was conducted using SolidWorks simulations, while oil quality testing adhered to ASTM standards. Structural analysis results indicated that a 40 x 40 x 2 mm hollow steel frame could safely support a load of 103.04 kg (1,010.82 N) with a Factor of Safety (FOS) of 5.028. The redesigned 38 cm diameter combustion cover successfully minimized heat leakage, achieving an FOS of 1.268. Fuel testing revealed that the open combustion system yielded superior oil compared to the closed system, with Cetane Numbers of 31.5 versus 27.0, specific gravities of 780.9 kg/m³ versus 766.8 kg/m³, and kinematic viscosities of 1.465 mm²/s versus 0.975 mm²/s.
