Infectious diseases remain a major health issue in many developing countries, including Indonesia. The high rates of morbidity and mortality, coupled with rapid transmission patterns, often hinder the public from independently diagnosing the illnesses they experience. To address these challenges, a Expert System Application for Contagious Skin Diseases in Humans based on Android was developed, with a case study at Aveia Clinic. The selection of the Android platform is based on the widespread popularity of smartphones, which now have the capability to replace computers in daily life. This application aims to provide information and classify types of contagious skin disorders based on common symptoms observed in the community, as well as estimating the likelihood percentage of diagnosis.
