The background of this research lies in the importance of employee job satisfaction in supporting the execution of duties at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency of Soppeng Regency. Job satisfaction can be influenced by work environment conditions and the workload assigned to employees. An unsupportive work environment and an inappropriate workload can affect employees' comfort and satisfaction at work. This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and workload on employee job satisfaction. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 89 respondents. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, the t-test, and the F-test. The results indicate that work environment and workload have a significant influence on employee job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. This suggests that improving the quality of the work environment and managing workload appropriately can enhance employee job satisfaction at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency of Soppeng Regency.
