<![CDATA[Community Service Program (KKN) students hold a strategic position as agents of change who bridge the digital literacy gap between the development of financial technology and community readiness, particularly among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the sub-district level. This article describes the role of KKN students from Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang in encouraging the adoption of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as a digital economy instrument in Kelurahan Sukaraja, Palembang City, carried out from 16 July to 19 August 2026. Rather than merely reporting on technical QRIS training, this study focuses on how students functioned as facilitators, educators, and companions in the process of behavioral change toward digital transactions. The implementation method used a participatory action research approach through door-to-door visits to business locations. Of the 12 MSMEs approached and offered the program directly, students successfully assisted 5 MSMEs in obtaining an active QRIS account and QR code, while the remaining 7 declined, considering QRIS inconvenient and preferring cash transactions over digital transfers. Results show that the presence of students as knowledge brokers accelerated the community's adaptation to financial technology previously unfamiliar to them, while also raising awareness of the importance of digital readiness as one indirect pathway toward poverty alleviation at the sub-district level.]]>
