This study aims to analyze the effect of PayLater usage intensity and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Management students at Pamulang University. A quantitative approach with an associative design was employed, collecting data through questionnaires administered to students selected via purposive sampling. Data analysis included validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results indicate that PayLater usage intensity has a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior, whereas financial literacy exerts a negative and significant effect. Simultaneously, both PayLater usage intensity and financial literacy significantly influence student consumptive behavior. These findings suggest that enhancing financial literacy serves as a vital effort to suppress consumptive behavior, while higher PayLater usage tends to escalate impulsive spending among students.
