Introduction: Pain after sectio caesarea can interfere with maternal comfort and recovery. This case study describes nursing care combining finger-grasping relaxation and lavender aromatherapy to reduce pain in mothers after sectio caesarea at RSUP dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten. Methods: A descriptive case study with a preāpost assessment involved two participants selected through purposive sampling. Finger-grasping relaxation and lavender aromatherapy were administered over two consecutive days. Pain intensity was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) before and after each session. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed descriptively. Results: On the first day, the NRS score decreased from 5 to 4 in the first participant and from 5 to 3 in the second participant. On the second day, both participants experienced a decrease from 3 to 2. These changes were accompanied by improved vital signs, reduced grimacing, greater comfort, and improved mobility. Conclusion: The combination of finger-grasping relaxation and lavender aromatherapy was associated with reduced pain in both cases and may be considered as an adjunct to postoperative nursing pain management.
