Globalization has significantly impacted society, particularly regarding cultural developments that influence self-conception and national identity. The "Korean Wave" serves as a prime example of globalization's influence on cultural evolution. The high level of enthusiasm among Indonesians for this phenomenon poses a potential threat to national identity. The author proposes a re-enculturation approach centered on cognitive strategies derived from "mind construction" theory. This approach is designed for implementation across three spheres: mass media, social media, and education. The author hopes that by employing the mind construction method, Malay identity—as a component of national identity—can be safeguarded and preserved through the *baju telok belanga’* (a form of cultural heritage); the goal is to embed familiarity with this attire deeply within the minds and subconscious of the younger generation. *Wallahu a’lam* (God knows best).
