This study examines how financial management behavior, loan self-control, and lifestyle influence the management of paylater usage among industrial workers in Cikarang. Data were collected from 401 respondents through an online questionnaire using incidental sampling and analyzed with SmartPLS 3, including a Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) to explore age differences. The findings show that financial management behavior and loan self-control have positive but insignificant effects on paylater usage management, while lifestyle demonstrates a positive and significant influence, emerging as the most dominant factor. The MGA results further reveal variations based on respondents’ age groups. These results suggest that lifestyle plays a crucial role in shaping financial behavior, highlighting the importance of age-specific financial literacy programs and targeted interventions by paylater providers and policymakers to encourage more responsible usage.
