Digital culture has become important in Generation Z’s lives; however, intensive digital media use presents challenges in regulating attention, emotions, desires, and behavior. This study aims to analyze the theological dimensions of Generation Z’s self-control in digital culture from an Islamic perspective. The study employs a qualitative approach using field research through semi-structured interviews with Generation Z, supported by relevant existing literature. Data were analyzed through collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Generation Z’s self-control in digital culture is shaped by five theological dimensions. Tawhid provides life orientation toward Allah, helping individuals avoid regarding social recognition as the main measure of self-worth. Syukur fosters self-acceptance and reduces comparisons with others. Sabr strengthens restraint over immediate impulses and prioritizes obligations. Qana’ah helps regulate desires, consumer behavior, and tendencies to follow digital trends. Muraqabah cultivates awareness to monitor, correct, and improve oneself when digital media use becomes excessive.
