<![CDATA[This paper explores how Indonesian civil society engages with international humanitarian law in the context of Palestinian rights. In particular, it focuses on the legal frameworks used by Indonesian legal experts, activists, and organizations to advocate for Palestinian sovereignty and human rights. Drawing from case studies, legal documents, and interviews with prominent legal scholars and practitioners, the paper examines how Indonesian legal professionals navigate the complexities of international law to advocate for Palestine. This includes efforts to hold Israel accountable for violations of international law, as well as initiatives to promote Palestinian rights in Indonesian foreign policy. The study also evaluates the role of legal mobilization in shaping public discourse around Palestine, highlighting the intersection of legal activism and public opinion. It argues that legal interventions, rooted in human rights frameworks, have become a central pillar of Indonesia’s response to the Palestinian cause.]]>
