<![CDATA[Burns are a common health problem among adolescents and require appropriate early treatment to prevent further complications. Adolescents' low knowledge of first aid for burns can lead to erroneous actions and worsen the condition of the wound. One effort that can be done to improve this knowledge is through health education with a demonstration method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education with a demonstration method on increasing knowledge of first aid for burns in SMP Negeri 2 Parongpong. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The population of this study was all 550 students of SMP Negeri 2 Parongpong. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling with a sample of 47 people. Data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in knowledge of first aid for burns in students of SMP Negeri 2 Parongpong before and after being given health education with a demonstration method with a p-value <0.001 ]]>
