This study aims to examine the factors influencing investment decisions from the perspectives of risk, information, taxation policies, and culture. Investment decisions represent a strategic process involving the allocation of current resources with the expectation of obtaining future benefits, while facing various uncertainties. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize previous studies related to investment decision-making. The literature collection process was conducted through several stages, including initial identification, removal of duplicate articles, screening based on titles and abstracts, and full-text assessment using the PRISMA diagram. The selected studies were then analyzed using a thematic analysis approach to identify key themes related to investor behavior and investment decision-making processes. The findings indicate that risk, availability and quality of information, taxation policies, and cultural factors play significant roles in influencing investment decisions. Risk relates to the level of uncertainty that affects expected investment returns, while information supports investors in analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities. In addition, taxation policies influence the net returns received by investors, and cultural factors shape perceptions of risk and financial decision-making behavior. This study is expected to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing investment decisions and serve as a foundation for future research in developing more integrative investment decision-making models.
