The development of digital transformation in the banking sector is driving changes in operational systems, human resource competencies, and the use of technology to support work activities. This study aims to analyze the impact of operational digitization, digital competencies, and the use of JConnect on the performance of employees at Bank Jatim’s HR. Muhammad Branch in Surabaya. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sampling technique used is saturation sampling. Consequently, all 35 employees were included as research respondents. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of the SPSS application. The results indicate that operational digitalization has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (p = 0.031). Meanwhile, digital competence (p = 0.152) and the use of JConnect (p = 0.089) do not have a significant partial effect on employee performance. However, simultaneously, all three variables have a significant effect on employee performance (p = 0.003). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.351 indicates that operational digitization, digital competence, and the use of JConnect account for 35.1% of the variation in employee performance. This study demonstrates that operational digitization plays a crucial role in enhancing employee performance. In addition, the combination of operational digitization, digital competencies, and the use of JConnect collectively supports improvements in employee effectiveness as they navigate the digital transformation in the banking sector.
