<![CDATA[Brachytherapy is a modality of internal radiotherapy that utilize radioactive sources placed close to the target to increase effectiveness in cancer treatment. However, before the device is used in clinical service, commissioning is required to ensure that the device complies with factory specifications and radiation safety standards. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause the difference in radiation dose rate values between commissioning data and the results of radiation exposure measurement in 2026 on SagiNova brachytherapy machines with Cpbalt-60 radioactive sources at the Integrated Cancer Service Installation of R.T Notopuro Sidoarjo Hospital. The method used in this study is direct measurement using the Gamma Rad Eye G20-10 surveymeter at several measurement points with distances 5 cm and 1 m around the brachytherapy device. The results showed that at a distance of 5 cm there was a difference of 3.34 μSv/h to 19.34 μSv/h, while at a distance of 1 m there was a difference of 0.03 μSv/h to 0.75 μSv/h. The results obtained indicate that the dosage rate value in 2026 has a lower value than in the commissioning data due to the influence of the activity value of the Cobalt-60 source which decreases each time. However, the results showed that the measurement value was still within the safe limit of 20 mSv/year for radiation workers.]]>
