This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic religious guidance in fostering the character trait of trustworthiness (Amanah) among adolescents at the Aisyiyah Orphanage in Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro. Trustworthiness is an essential moral value that adolescents need to develop as part of character education. This study employs a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the orphanage administrators, religious counselors, and the adolescent residents. The study ensured data validity through source triangulation and methodological triangulation. The findings indicate that regular Islamic religious guidance activities such as reciting the Qur’an, religious lectures, congregational prayer, and exemplary behavior significantly contribute to strengthening the trustworthiness of the adolescents’ character. Indicators of trustworthiness include responsibility, honesty, discipline, and commitment in carrying out assigned tasks. Supporting factors include the consistency of religious programs and the role of caregivers as role models, while inhibiting factors include peer influence and the adolescents’ diverse backgrounds. This study concludes that Islamic religious guidance is effective in fostering trustworthy character among adolescents in orphanage settings.
