Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that widely used beca use of its cheaper price and more effective. But gentamicin has side effect toward various organs. Toxic effect of gentamicin can be neutralized by antioxidant in herbal medicine extract. The research aims to understand the effect of black cumin extract (Nigella sativa L.) toward various organs such as liver, lung and testis of white rat (Rattus novergicus) induced by gen tamicin. The research used 25 male white rats of Sprague dawley’s breed. Rats were randomly divide by 5 groups: K1 (aquadest), K2 (gentamicin intraperitoneal/ip 80 mg/KgBW), K3 (gentamicin ip 80 mg/KgBW+ black cumin extract by 500 mg/KgBW), K4 (gentamicin ip 80 mg/KgBW+ black cumin extract 1000 mg/KgBW) and K5 (gentamicin ip 80 mg/KgBW+ black cumin extract 1500 mg/KgBW). Gentamicin was given up to 8 days and black cumin up to 10 days, then rats terminated. Histopathological imagery of liver, lung and testis stained with HE and viewed under microscope for further data analysis. From the result can be conclude there was effect of black cumin (Nigella sativa L.) to liver, lung and testis histopathological imagery from white rat (Rattus norvegicus) induced by gentamicin
