The mangrove forest a tropical beach vegetation community is dominated by several species of mangrove trees capable of growing and growing in tidal areas of muddy beaches. The purpose of this research is to know the role of society and government in mangrove ecotourism management and to know strategy management of mangrove ecotourismTongke-Tongke Village, East Sinjai district, Sinjai Regency. Sampling technique conducted by purposive sampling. Data collection, conducted by observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. To know the management strategy used SWOT analysis technique. SWOT analysis used to formulate alternative sustainable management strategies ecotourism of mangrove forests. The result obtained is that local government in support of mangrove ecotourism, has made sidewalks, in form of road boards together with the community to facilitate access to enter the mangrove forest area, oversee the development of mangrove management, conduct counseling about mangrove forest. The alternative strategy for sustainable management of mangrove ecotourism, prioritized in the mangrove ecotourism area of Tongke-Tongke Village is (1) improving the coordination of government, community and managers in developing ecotourism, (2) involving the community in every mangrove ecotourism management, (3) creating and applying the system monitoring and evaluation involving stakeholders in the protection of mangrove ecosystems.
