<![CDATA[Fungal pneumonia is a type of lung infection that is often found in immunocompromised or immunodeficiency conditions. Fungal pneumonia or pulmonary mycoses that are often reported are aspegillosis, candidosis, cryptococcus, and histoplasmosis. Fungal infections, including fungal pneumonia, provide a high rate of morbidity and mortality in patients with impaired immune systems. This can be caused by fungi as a cause of lung infection is still less of a concern as well as in the provision of prophylactic therapy. Therefore, we reviewed several literatures including journals and consensus regarding appropriate management from prevention to treatment of fungal pneumonia.]]>
