This study aimsto(1) determinethe achievement ofscientificskillsof studentswho are taughtwitha problem-based learning modelthroughguided inquiryapproachandachievement ofscientificskillsof studentswho are taught byconventional learning models(2) mengeahuistudentresponsesto the implementation ofproblem-based learningthroughguided inquiryapproach. The study is calledthe studypopulationwithpre-experimental designmethodsandis descriptive, data collection techniquesthroughtests, questionnairesandobservation. Techniques ofdata analysisdonewithdescriptivestatisticsthat includemean value, standarddeviationandpercentageanalysis. The results showedthat theachievement ofstudents' scientificskillsaretaughtwitha problem-based learning modelthroughinquiryapproachhigher thanstudentstaughtwithconventional teachingand thestudentsresponded positively to theimplementationmodel ofproblem-based learningthroughguided inquiryapproach.
