<![CDATA[Ecoprint is an environmentally friendly dyeing technique that utilizes natural pigments from plants. This study aims to identify local plant species that can be used as natural dyes in the ecoprint technique. The method used is a literature review of literature studies by taking reference sources in the form of books, articles from international and national journals related to the use of plants as natural dyes, and experiments to observe surrounding plants. The results of the study show that several parts of the plants used are quite varied, ranging from leaves, flowers, bark, fruit skin, seeds, to tubers that have natural pigments such as flavonoids, tannins, anthocyanins and chlorophyll that have the potential to produce various colors such as green, yellow, red, brown, gray, and blue. The use of these plants not only produces good color variations, but also supports the principles of sustainability and environmental friendliness. The conclusion of this study is that local plants have great potential as natural dyes, so they can be an alternative to synthetic dyes in the textile industry.]]>
