<![CDATA[Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia due to insulin secretion deficiency or insulin ineffectiveness. The rising prevalence of DM is closely linked to lifestyle shifts, including unhealthy dietary patterns and low physical activity. Objective: This study aims to describe the frequency distribution of dietary patterns and physical activity among DM patients at the Sosial Public Health Center, Palembang, in 2025. Methods: This was a descriptive quantitative study. Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique involving 88 respondents. The research instrument consisted of validated dietary and physical activity questionnaires, with data analyzed using univariate descriptive statistics. Results: The findings indicated that the majority of DM patients were in the middle-adulthood and elderly age groups, with a predominance of females. Most respondents exhibited irregular dietary patterns (52.3%) and moderate levels of physical activity (83%). Conclusion: This study concludes that DM patients in the working area of the Sosial Public Health Center are dominated by individuals with a strong family history but face challenges in dietary regularity. Continuous education on nutritional management and physical activity optimization is crucial to reducing DM morbidity at the primary health care level.]]>
