Limited access to affordable electrical energy is one of the obstacles for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), especially those located far from the PLN electricity network. Large solar energy be utilized as an alternative energy source through can Solar Power Plants (PLTS). This study aims to design an independent electrical enerzy source based on PLTS and analyze the stability of Boost Converter performance based on a comparison of calculation results and power measurements on the MSME beverage cooling system. The designed system consists of Solar Panels, Solar Charge Controllers, Batteries, Boost Converters, Inverters, and loads in the form of Styrofoam Cooling Boxes covered with Aluminum Foil. Testing was carried out in the time range of 09:00 - 15:00 WIB with data collection of Voltage, Current, and Power. The test results show that the Solar Panel produces a voltage of 12.85 - 13.05 V with a power ranging from 84.46 W to 111.9 W. The Boost converter is able to maintain a relatively stable output voltage in the range of 13.2 - 13.8 V with an output power between 72.78 W to 105.67 W. The Boost Converter is stable and in accordance with the design. Thus, the designed PLTS system has the potentiat to be an independent electrical energy solution that is environmentally friendly and able to rwduce the operational costs of UMKM.
