<![CDATA[Introduction: Environmental and land disputes often arise in communities facing rapid urbanization, development, or the encroachment of large industries. In Indonesia, these disputes are especially prevalent in rural and indigenous communities, where traditional land use practices conflict with legal frameworks governing land ownership and environmental conservation.Purpose: This paper aims to explore community-based legal interventions in resolving environmental and land disputes, focusing on the transition from legal advice to actionable solutions in addressing these conflicts.Method: The research uses a case study approach, analyzing successful examples of community-led legal initiatives in land and environmental disputes across Indonesia. Interviews with community leaders, legal experts, and affected parties are included.Findings and Results: The study finds that community-based legal solutions, such as mediation and local legal advocacy, are effective in resolving land disputes and achieving sustainable outcomes. The involvement of local communities in the legal process fosters trust and provides solutions tailored to local needs. However, challenges persist, such as bureaucratic delays and lack of legal knowledge among affected populations.Urgency: Land disputes, if left unresolved, lead to social unrest, environmental degradation, and the displacement of vulnerable communities. Immediate legal interventions are needed to protect rights and ensure fair outcomes.Contribution: This paper contributes to the understanding of how community-driven legal approaches can help resolve complex land and environmental disputes.Recommendation: The study recommends expanding community-based legal outreach programs and establishing collaborative legal frameworks that involve local stakeholders in the dispute resolution process.]]>
