<![CDATA[This research aims to explore the potential and challenges of developing sports tourism, particularly surfing tourism package, as a destination attraction in Gerupuk Beach, Central Lombok Regency. CV Roots Lombok plays a crucial role in providing and developing appealing surfing tour packages for domestic and international tourists. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation to identify the potential and challenges in the development of surfing tourism by CV Roots Lombok. The results show that Pantai Gerupuk offers ideal waves for surfers of various levels and has supportive local culture, but faces challenges such as security, marketing, community participation, and environmental conservation. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of high safety standards, effective marketing strategies, local community involvement, and environmentally friendly practices to maximize the positive impact of surfing tourism development in Pantai Gerupuk]]>
