The rapid development of information technology and communication devices encourages the process of digitalization in various aspects of people's lives, including in the economic and financial transactions sector. The digital world economy is now producing many new electronic-based products, one of which is electronic money (e-money). The author is interested in researching whether electronic money (e-money) can affect the development of the Digital Economy in Indonesia in 2020-2022. This study aims to determine the effect of the volume of e-money shopping transactions, the value of e-money shopping transactions, e-money infrastructure, GDP per capita, e-retail penetration, internet penetration on the development of the digital economy in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative descriptive data analysis method with two lines of analysis, namely descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the volume of e-money shopping transactions and the value of e-money shopping transactions partially have a significant effect on the Development of the Digital Economy in Indonesia in 2020-2022, while e-money infrastructure, GDP per capita, e-retail penetration, and partial internet penetration has no significant effect on the Development of the Digital Economy in Indonesia in 2020-2022. In conclusion, E-money Shopping Transaction Volume, E-money Shopping Transaction Value, GDP per Capita, E-Retail Penetration, Internet Penetration simultaneously have a significant and positive value effect on the Development of the Digital Economy in Indonesia in 2020-2022.
