<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of still visual media in improving conceptual understanding of football among young athletes at SSB YF-13. Still visual media such as technical images, tactical diagrams, and static motion illustrations were utilized to support the teaching-learning process, especially in explaining fundamental football techniques. The research employed a quantitative approach using a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The sample consisted of all young athletes at SSB YF-13, selected through total sampling. The instruments were a conceptual understanding test (pretest and posttest), observation sheets, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test to identify significant differences before and after treatment. The results indicate a significant improvement in the students’ conceptual understanding after the use of still visual media. This suggests that still visual media is an effective instructional tool for helping young athletes process information, understand fundamental techniques, and retain learning material more effectively. Therefore, still visual media is recommended for use in youth football training sessions.]]>
