<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the development of research on cash waqf and poverty alleviation in Indonesia and to explore the potential of cash waqf in supporting poverty alleviation. This study uses bibliometric analysis and a literature review. Data were collected from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish and screened based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. VOSviewer was used to identify the main topics and development of research, while the selected studies were reviewed to understand the role of cash waqf in poverty alleviation. The results show that cash waqf and poverty alleviation are the main topics in the literature, with related themes such as community empowerment, social welfare, Baitul Maal wat Tamwil, sustainable development, and cash waqf-linked sukuk. The reviewed studies suggest that cash waqf may support poverty alleviation through productive financing, microfinance, and community empowerment. However, its contribution depends on good governance, nadzir capacity, institutional support, and public literacy. Cash waqf can contribute to poverty alleviation, but further empirical studies are needed to assess its actual impact. This study is also limited by its reliance on Google Scholar as the primary database.
