<![CDATA[The people of Mrunten Kulon Hamlet, Kalisidi Village, have an Iriban tradition that has been carried out from generation to generation, but the involvement of youth when the tradition takes place has not participated in the whole activity. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation obtained through written notes, recording, observation and taking photographs. The conclusion of this research is that the Iriban Tradition is a tradition carried out by the community every year before the rainy season by cleaning water sources, irrigation channels for agricultural land, and for household purposes. Preserving the Iriban Tradition is carried out by the village government inviting the community to get involved in Iriban Tradition activities as a form of effort to preserve their ancestral heritage and parents also involving children in taking part in a series of events from the start to the end of the activity. The meanings or values ​​contained in the Iriban Tradition are mutual cooperation, cooperation, friendship, religion, preservation of water resources and the natural environment.]]>
