<![CDATA[The School Participation Rate in Semarang Regency is high, yet the quality of human resources remains relatively poor. This study aims to identify the profile of students’ potential and constraints within the framework of Self-Regulated Learning, as well as to analyse the gap between the level of importance and the level of implementation in Semarang Regency. Data were collected via a Self-Regulated Learning questionnaire and analysed using the Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results indicate an average importance score of 3.04 and an implementation score of 3.03, suggesting a gap, albeit a relatively small one. The distribution of indicators showed that 14 were in the high-priority category, 10 in the maintain category, 9 in the low-priority category, and 16 in the over-emphasised quadrant. These findings suggest that students are aware of the importance of learning strategies but have not yet been able to implement them optimally. Learning strategies are still dominated by basic, repetitive activities, whilst metacognitive skills and self-regulation have not yet developed optimally.]]>
