<![CDATA[The era of industrial revolution 4.0 triggered major transformations in various sectors, including the financial sector. The birth of fintech, a technological innovation in the financial sector, offers alternative solutions to meet people's needs for easier, safer and more modern financial services. The rapid growth of fintech opens up opportunities to develop fintech-based sharia financial services. This article reviews the role of fintech in developing sharia financial services in Indonesia.This research uses qualitative methods with literature study and descriptive analysis. The research results show that fintech has a crucial role in the development of sharia financial services by presenting several main advantages. First, fintech increases the accessibility of sharia financial services for people who were previously unreachable by traditional sharia banking. Second, fintech is able to reduce the costs of sharia financial services, making them more affordable for the wider community. Third, fintech increases transparency in sharia financial services, builds trust and encourages public participation. Fourth, fintech encourages innovation in sharia financial services, giving birth to new products and services that suit the needs of modern society. With support from the government, regulators and industry players, sharia fintech can be an effective solution to increase sharia financial inclusion and encourage sharia economic growth in Indonesia. Multi-party collaboration is needed to create a conducive sharia fintech ecosystem, guarantee the fulfillment of sharia principles, and protect consumer rights. Sharia fintech has great potential to expand the reach of sharia financial services, increase sharia financial literacy, and advance the sharia economy in Indonesia.]]>
