"aqad" in sales transactions on Banjar community. In Islam, a valid contract is a foundational pillar in trade, requiring mutual consent, clarity of the item being sold, and the formal act of offer and acceptance (ijab-qabul). The Banjar community, which adheres to Islamic principles, has a distinctive tradition in sales contracts that highlights values of honesty, transparency, and trust, exemplified in phrases like "Exchange," "Sell," and "Mutual Acceptance." This practice shows that in economic transactions, the Banjar community prioritizes not only the material aspect but also maintains social and spiritual dimensions. This study reveals that the principles of contracts in Banjar traditions support fair, valid, and blessed transactions for all parties involved. Further research is recommended to explore the traditional concept of contracts, particularly regarding its potential application in modern transactions to foster an ethical economic pattern grounded in local cultural values.
