In contemporary society, early marriage has become a common practice among many communities. This refers to marriages where one or both partners are underage, not yet at the legal age for marriage. Early marriage significantly influences birth and death rates. Despite this, numerous parents disregard the implications, resulting in increased instances of out-of-wedlock pregnancies, which lead to abortions, toddler mortality, and a rise in domestic violence related to early marriage. Various factors contribute to early marriage in the modern era, which can also result in harassment or immoral behavior. This study investigates the issues arising from early marriage, the factors causing it in contemporary society, and Islamic perspectives on early marriage. The objective is to highlight early marriage as an issue needing recognition and resolution. The research method involved surveying students and reviewing literature on early marriage. Findings indicate that allowing early marriage to persist and become a norm results in numerous problems.
