Abstract

This article discusses the impact of electrolytes in daily life and their relationship to islamic teachings about nutrition and hygiene. Electrolytes, which include minerals such as sodium(Na), pottasium (K), and chloride (Cl), play an important role in maintaining fluid balance, muscle function, and nerve activity. In a health context, this article explains how adequate electrolyte intake can support the body’s endurance, increase physical performance, prevent dehydration, especially in indonesia’s tropical climate which often causes electrolyte loss through sweat. In addition, this article examines the principles of hygiene and nutrition in islam, the importance of maintaining a healthy body through consuming nutritious, halal and clean food as an effort to achieve optimal health. By analyzing the relationship between modern science and islamic teachings, this article aims to provide insight to the importance of electrolytes in everyday life and how this understanding can be activated in health practices that are in accordance with islamic values. In addition, this article also proposes an approach to increase public awareness about the importance of electrolytes and healthy eating patterns, as well as the role of religion in guiding individuals towards a better lifestyle.
