<![CDATA[Depression has become one of the major mental health challenges faced by individuals across various segments of society. Various approaches to address depression have been developed, one of which is through the strengthening of faith (aqeedah) and monotheism (tawhid) from an Islamic perspective. This study addresses the issue of how the concepts of aqeedah and tawhid can be utilized in managing depression, with a focus on the role of spirituality in mental recovery. The objective of this research is to examine how a proper understanding of tawhid can aid individuals experiencing depression, and to explore the benefits of applying Islamic teachings to improve mental health. The method used is a literature review, analyzing sources that discuss the relationship between mental health, aqeedah, and tawhid in Islam. The findings suggest that belief in the oneness of Allah and acceptance of His divine will can strengthen inner peace and reduce anxiety, which often accompanies depression. Tawhid also serves as a foundation for cultivating gratitude and reliance (tawakkul) that can enhance mental resilience. This study concludes that understanding and applying the principles of aqeedah and tawhid holds great potential as a holistic approach to helping individuals effectively overcome depression.]]>
