<![CDATA[Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. There are around 39,043 Islamic Boarding Schools spread throughout Indonesia based on records obtained from the Ministry of Religion (2022/2023). Some of the factors that are reasons for parents who enroll their children in Islamic Boarding Schools are so that the child gets in-depth knowledge about religion and learns how to have good ethics. This article was written to examine how life that occurs in Islamic boarding schools can affect psychological changes in children who receive education at Peantren Islamic boarding schools. We can meet several alumni of famous Islamic boarding schools, for example Gontor has succeeded in becoming respected people in the community. However, not a few people after graduating from the boarding school actually become bad people in their lives. This research was carried out using literature studies and conducting interviews with several friends of students who are also alumni of Islamic Boarding Schools. The goal is to see how the influence of Islamic Boarding School Education can affect their later lives. The results show that the educational environment of Pondok Peantren greatly affects the lives of its alumni after graduation.]]>
