The re-emergence of LGBTQ people in western countries is now an issue that greatly influences global society's perception. As legalization and recognition of LGBTQ rights continues, debates regarding rights, tolerance, and the influence of culture and religion have become more intense. This study employs a literature review approach to explore the views of global society, especially in countries with conservative cultures, regarding the LGBTQ phenomenon. In this study, psychological and religious perspectives, especially Islam, are discussed as an important basis for understanding its impact. The research results show that despite increasing acceptance in some countries, the LGBTQ phenomenon remains a controversial issue with responses varying from support to strong rejection. This shows the importance of preventive efforts through education, strengthening faith, and implementing regulations that are in accordance with local and religious values.
