<![CDATA[This article is motivated by the researcher's desire to dig deeper into the REBT counseling approach using confrontation techniques in the Qur'an Surah Al-Anbiya verses 61-66. The purpose of this study is to analyze the REBT counseling approach method contained in the Qur'an surah Al-Anbiya verses 61-66, namely the story of Prophet Ibrahim as. with the idolatrous kaldan people. The research method used is library research and the data obtained is then analyzed by content analysis. In the Qur'an surah Al-anbiya verses 61-66, namely the story of Prophet Ibrahim as. there is a deviant thought (irrational belief) in the people of Prophet Ibrahim as. namely the Kaldan people who worship idols. The results of the researcher's analysis in the story, the researcher found a REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) counseling approach method with confrontation techniques carried out by Prophet Ibrahim to the Kaldan people. This method can be used by counselors when dealing with clients who have irrational beliefs about something.]]>
