This study is motivated by the importance of student character development through Islamic Education learning amid the challenges of modern developments that influence students’ behavior. Islamic Education does not only focus on improving students’ religious knowledge but also plays an important role in developing religious, disciplined, honest, responsible, and noble character. This study aims to examine the planning, implementation, evaluation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic Education learning management in improving student character at MI Al-Injaz Kandangan. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Islamic Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and students as research subjects. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Islamic Education learning management has been implemented through systematic planning, active learning implementation, and evaluation covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Supporting factors include the principal’s support, teacher competence, a religious school environment, and cooperation with parents. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include differences in students’ characteristics, the influence of social media, and limited parental supervision. Therefore, well-planned and sustainable Islamic Education learning management can contribute to improving student character at MI Al-Injaz Kandangan.
