<![CDATA[This research focuses on designing a smartphone sterilization system using Ultraviolet-C (UVC) radiation, based on an Arduino Nano microcontroller and integrated with a wireless charging system. The system is designed for fully automated operation with a structured workflow, encompassing object detection, mechanical door control, and a timed sterilization process. A Finite State Machine (FSM) approach serves as the primary control logic, managing state transitions based on sensor responses to the environment. The device utilizes a suite of autonomous components, including an ultrasonic sensor for proximity detection, a servo motor for door actuation, a 5V relay module as an electronic switch, a DHT11 sensor for monitoring temperature and humidity, and a 0.96-inch I2C OLED LCD for status indication. Test results demonstrate stable system performance at the prototype level, with optimal execution of the 40-second automated sterilization process and real-time LCD of operational status. However, sterilization efficiency remains influenced by the smartphone's placement and the distribution of UVC exposure within the sterilization chamber. This research is expected to serve as a foundational reference for developing efficient and cost-effective sanitization methods for personal devices.]]>
